Dear Sir,
I acknowledge the receipt of a letter from Mr. S. S. Wardwell, of Providence, dated Nov. 15, — enclosing a cheque on the North Bank for 250 dollars: which amt. I have duly placed to your credit:– Say two hundred & fifty dollars.
